Author's Note:
Original poetry, don't like, don't read. At least it's short.

Summary:
It's a poem. About asshole husbands who rant as a means of expressing negative emotions.

Stones

Instead of listen, look:
Your husband’s words fall like stones,
One by one into the basket of your gut.
Collected, build them into a wall around your heart,
Line a well into your soul.

Looking, learn to duck without moving
Those stones that launch at your head.
(Their dust dries your eyes, your voice.)

The house you build
Shelters ghosts.

--Do not ask for "more" or request information on when a story will be updated.
--Do not question an author's plot by pretending to be confused by what you've read. That sort of passive aggressive bullshit won't fly here.
--Do not guess or attempt anticipate an author's plot then complain about it.
--Do not make demands regarding future events or pairings.

In short, don't be an asshole.
